Abu Dhabi developer Aldar has acquired a residential development in Dubai Studio City for Dh1.1 billion ($300 million).
The project
The scheme, developed by SRG, has 312 homes across six mid-rise buildings, with one, two and three-bedroom units and duplexes. It includes a community mall and about 16,000 square metres of parkland, with completion due in 2028.
Why Aldar is buying
Aldar is building up its recurring rental income in Dubai, betting on continued population growth and demand for homes to rent.
