Dubai's First-Time Home Buyer Programme has helped more than 3,200 residents buy their first home since it launched in July 2025. Transactions through the scheme have passed Dh5 billion.
How it works
The programme is run by the Dubai Land Department with the Department of Economy and Tourism. It was designed to lower the barriers for residents moving from renting to owning, with participating developers offering buyers structured routes to ownership.
Why it matters
More residents buying to live in adds a steady, long-term layer of demand to the market, particularly for mid-priced homes.
